Now for the ridiculous part (aside from ordering it overseas and then having my Mother In Law carry it all the way here) is that I can’t knit. But I totally plan to learn now. I mean how cute are these?!

Good thing I work in a profession that is mostly women. I’m sure I can bribe someone at work to teach me the ropes!

I headed into to Toronto for the Creativ Festival yesterday and boy did I have fun! If you live in or near Toronto and can get there today or tomorrow it’s worth it.  They’ve got stuff for scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, crocheting, cardmaking, and all sorts of supplies and sellers.

I picked up a ton of fat quarters! They were everywhere and so fun and such bargains . . . I think I have over 30. I also met some really creative and fun people and managed to even work out a donation for a giveaway while mentioning my blog. I think I’ll let the posts about my wonderful finds trickle in over the next few days.

Love, love, love this sweater by Flint Knits. Probably because it’s green and that seems to be my new colour bff but it’s really nice and I fully intend to make one.

I love this brilliant idea for it’s eco-friendliness and cost effectiveness. I stopped using our swiffer (it was left in the house by the previous owners) because I never remembered to get, or could be bothered to pay for, the little refill thingies. Problem solved with this little pattern!

I NEED to make my boys some of these hats. I had been looking around the net trying to find a nice free pattern. Silly me forgetting about Ravelry. Thanks to Coffee Bra for sharing.
