Create-Along Friday

Finished my boxy pouch the other day and had a tough time, yet again, taking a photo. I went over to my friend’s house on Wednesday to use my button machine and I lugged my camera hoping to snap some photos in her windowful house. But of course, it was a grey rainy day. Luckily my 2 little pictures have turned out pretty well.

Once again, I used some of my new fabric. I didn’t really want to use a yellow zipper but it was the only one of the right size I had on hand. I’m on a bit of a mission to try to use what I have on hand when possible.

Next up is Keyka Lou‘s newest pattern for Zip Pocket Pouches. Have I mentioned how much I love her stuff?!

She always picks great fabrics and combinations.

The pattern comes with 3 different sizes. I bought it about a week and a half ago and it’s been tough waiting to make some. Join me won’t you?

  1. Couldn’t wait to make this medium sized zip pocket pouch! It’s the perfect size to fit a smart phone. I added a loop with a small D-ring and made it into a wristlet. So much easier to carry. What a great pattern! Can’t wait to make more for Christmas gifts.
    Thanks for always inspiring!

  2. holy cow! that wood pattern fabric is aaaamazing, do you know where i could find some? i’m completely in love!!!

  3. Check Etsy. I’ve found some just at fabric and quilting stores. It is super awesome.
