Friday Create Along & a giveaway!

Well since I already unveiled my better late than never Create Along project earlier this week I don’t have one to share. But I do have an up next project as well as a giveaway!!

Shannon of BLISSFULpatterns has generously offered to give away a PDF copy of this fabric basket.

Giveaway will be open from Friday July 13th until Tuesday July 17th. I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday July 18th. That won’t leave you time to play along and reveal with me next Friday but please share in the future.

To enter just leave a comment below (make sure there’s a link/email/contact way for me) and tell me what you’d be using your basket for. I might just have to steal your idea, I don’t *neeeed* a fabric basket but it’s so stinking cute and I love to try and stitch up new things!

Normally I don’t make people jump through hoops and earn extra entries but if you do happen to share on Twitter, your blog, or the Facebook please do come back and leave an extra comment, you’re worth it.

Good luck!

  1. I LOVE this pattern! I’d probably use it it several locations in my home… Magazine basket, mail basket, and of course, a basket for sewing! But, I think it’d first go in my daughter’s room, as a way to store some of her toys, books, etc.

  2. Oh, I pinned your giveaway, too! Don’t know if that counts but thought I’d share regardless!

  3. this is so cute! thanks for the chance to win! i’d made one for my mom for her crochet project!

  4. To wrangle sewing and knitting supplies that are taking over everything!

  5. SO cute!!! I might have to make more than one! Maybe for Gardening supplies, so i can occasionally wash it when it gets really dirty. another would probably be a zipper or trim stash. and make more than one for supplies, and put it on a bookshelf. so, they’d be arranged all nice and neat, and if i need one, i can just lift it up by the handle and carry it with me. — of course, this is all a dream with all the limitless time that I have on my hands! LOL

  6. Cute basket. Shuttermom77 at gmail dotcom

  7. this looks like a perfect bag for a knitting project!

  8. Patricia Crowley

I would use this to hold my current crochet projects! Love this!

  9. Looks like a perfect project bag for knit or crochet. The exterior pockets could hold a small ruler/gauge, markers, pattern, needles, et cetera and the bag portion could hold all the yarn.

  10. I am in love. I love that it has pockets on the outside. It would be my first adventure in making a purse/bag/tote!

I love your blog and how honest and fun it is.

  11. O_oo, please include me in your giveaway!! I so need this to carry my embroidery/hand sewing up and down stairs!

    Thanks!

  12. Oh this would get used as a night side table type thing…journal, pens, books and magazines, etc. I might make another for knitting. Seems appropriate!

This is so cute. I would use it to hold freshly picked veggies from the garden. Or a craft project.

  16. I would use it as a travel purse, I could include a book and a water bottle, maybe a snack.

  17. This looks like it would be great for going to the farmers market for the light loads!

  18. Oooo, that basket wants to hold my knitting!

  19. I tweeted too!

  20. I would use this for sure for my college kids – I am always hauling “stuff” to them for cleaning and cooking and craft stuff for my daughter. Looks like a good “to go” bag for that type of stuff. thanks!
